What is it that distinguishes firms able to survive and thrive in turbulent times from their poorer performing competitors? If managers and leaders know that sustainable leadership practices are likely to lead to better outcomes for the organization, why don’t they adopt these practices? What are the barriers to adoption? How does the nature of sustainable leadership and management vary in different cultures and contexts?
