Dr. Chirayu Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya

Chairman of the SCG (Siam Cement Public Co.), Chairman of the Thailand Sustainable Development Foundation (TSDF) and Director General of the Crown Property Bureau, Dr. Chirayu Isarangkun will officially open the conference.

The Crown Property Bureau has an interesting interview with him on Sustaining growth in Thailand.

Dr Chirayu was a special adviser in the production of the recently published Thailand’s Sustainable Development Sourcebook, published by Editions Didier Millet (EDM).

Mr. Harald Link

Head of B. Grimm group, Mr. Link will be giving a keynote speech on the first day of our conference.

He will share insights into operating a very large diversified business under sustainable principles drawing from both European and Thai ethics and philosophies.

The B. Grimm group are a long-established Thai conglomerate active in several sectors: energy, cooling, healthcare, lifestyle and real estate. Their stated business aim is to increase effectiveness, efficiency, well-being and the cultural progress of the Thai society.
Following double-digit annual growth in recent years, the privately held group reached $1 billion in revenue and roughly $80 million in net profits in 2014.

Founded in 1878 as Siam Dispensary, the company was acquired by Link’s grandfather in 1914. After studying in Switzerland and Germany, where he grew up, Harald Link arrived in Bangkok in 1978 to join his uncle in the family firm. Harald Link took charge as chief executive in 1987.

Dr Pojjanee Paniangvait

VP of Thai President Foods, Dr. Paniangvait is our keynote speaker opening the day on 1 June.
She holds a doctorate degree in Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry with emphasis on Food Sciences from the University of California, and has worked in the food industry at the top managerial level for over 20 years.

She is also Director of President Rice Products and Managing Director of President Flour Mills as well being Executive Director for the Food Science and Technology Association Of Thailand.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a key tenet for Thai President Foods, who are a manufacturer and distributor of instant noodle products, under the MAMA trademark, enjoying a major role in this market for over 40 years with more than 50% of market share.
